Technically speaking, Compass can be used with Codekit but you would need to compile it first and you would be losing a lot of the benefits of using Grunt to compile the theme on the fly. I'm not a Codekit user, so I can't really speak to the specifics of getting it working, but if you use one of the compiled versions available above you should be able to see how things work.
